At dtS, the school counseling program focuses on two main types of counseling
Academic counseling is designed to help students succeed academically by assisting them in developing effective study skills, setting academic goals, and choosing appropriate courses. It also involves helping students identify and address any learning difficulties that may be hindering their academic progress.
Behavioral counseling on the other hand, focuses on promoting positive behavior and addressing any issues that may be interfering with a student's social and emotional well-being. This type of counseling includes working with students to improve communication skills, manage stress and anxiety, and develop healthy relationships with peers.
dtS provides you with a school counselor who is a certified professional with specialized training in counseling techniques and child development to provide support and guidance, and to help ensure that each student is able to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.
